Our School held the 2022 Stars of the School of Information Management selection meeting in the No. 212 lecture hall on March 9th.

Qian Dai, CPC Deputy Secretary of our School, young teacher representatives were as followings: Ziyang Weng, Yang Zhao, Yiming Zhao, Qikai Cheng, Shaobo Liang and Chaocheng He attended the selection meeting.

The selection was composed of five groups, which were Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Major Study, Social Work, Campus Culture and Practical Service. After reviewing the paper material, a total of 19 candidates obtained the right to defend.

In the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group, with the goal of "exploration, boundless, endless progress", Haowen Gui won the Hubei provincial gold prize in the 8th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

In the Major Study Group, Yajing Lv talked about her efforts in study and scientific research, academic competition, practice and campus life with the theme of Lighting a Starlight. These efforts made her trip in Wuhan University.

In the Social Work Group, Yiyun Tan demonstrated his understanding of social work and determination to lead the team to progress through his work experience in four aspects: class, school, university and off-campus.

In the Campus Culture Group, Chuyue Zhang described her work experience at the Wuhan University Media Center and Art Center. The organization of nearly 10 large-scale cultural activities and the achievements of more than 40 graphic works have made her shine in campus cultural life.

In the Practical Service Group, Cheng Gu talked about the spirit of dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress from more than 50 volunteer activities, 120 hours of accumulated volunteer service and the honorary title of excellent volunteer. He said that it is necessary to drive more people to become strugglers on the road to a strong country through his own practical service.

The 19 candidates presented one by one, and the judges scored carefully. Finally, 10 stars of the School of Information Management were selected, which showed the positive spirit of our students.
