On the evening of March 19, the 9th Wuhan University Postgraduate Group Dancing Contest was held in the Student Center of the Information Division. 22 teams from 28 schools of Wuhan University showed their graceful demeanour.

The team composed of 16 girls and 2 boys of our School was uniform and energetic on the stage, and received bursts of applause and won the third prize in the fierce competition.

The SIM team performed The Adventures of Luojia Youth, which told the story of young students of Wuhan University met with the youth in different period of Chinese history. The dance combined the story with the modern popular dance style, praised the glorious course of the Communist Party of China since its founding, and showed the young generation's spirit of struggle in different periods, with courage to shoulder the responsibility of the times, and sonorous steps. The SIM team spread out a magnificent picture of a century-long journey in the form of dance, and combined with the sense of history, hope, grandeur and youth, the youth responsibility was handed down from generation to generation.

In the first part Dislocated Space and Timeof the dance, with the voice-over and background music, the members of the team went on stage in unison. In the long historical journey, there were always such a group of "new youths" who work and fight for their country. They were teenagers who had bloody battles for a hundred years. In this misplaced time and space, we embraced them tightly.

In the background music of the song Spark, the second part A Little Spark Makes a Great Fireof the dance kicked off. In the impassioned melody, the team praised the glorious course of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, showing the immortal blood and firm steps of contemporary youth.

In the third part Make Progress Every Day,the energetic dance of the team showed that a generation of young students were making progress every day, braving the wind and waves, being unhurried and full of hope, writing chapters belonging to young population in the new era and creating their own era.

After the song finished, the judges and the audience applauded and cheered for a long time. Facing the sunshine, the team of our School, with faith, braved all difficulties and danced, reflecting the vigor and vitality of the younger generation!
