On the evening of May 9, the 6th Wuhan University Luojia Person of the Year Awarding Ceremony was held in the Humanities Museum. The result of 2022 Wuhan University Luojia Person of the Year was published, Zhe Cao, a 2019-grade undergraduate majoring in Information Management and Information System of our School, was in the list. Zhe Cao shared her growing experience as student representative in the Ceremony.

During the four years in Wuhan University, Zhe Cao studied hard and developed comprehensively. Her academic grade point has always maintained 3.9+, and she was awarded the National Scholarship, Lei Jun Scholarship and KPMG Scholarship. In academic research, she published one article in SSCI authoritative journal, 4 articles in CSSCI journals, participated in top international academic conferences twice, and participated in 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In participation of contests and social practice, she focused on the development of ethnic minorities and the red ideological and political education, and led two innovative, entrepreneurial and social practice projects successively, won more than 10 provincial-level and above awards, such as gold prize in the provincial-level competition of the China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and was selected as one of the top 100 online exhibition teams of national college students activity. She was awarded the honorary titles, such as Wuhan University Three-good Students, Wuhan University Excellent Student Cadres. In addition, Zhe Cao also participated in the cultural and sports activities. She won the first place in the women's 3000m at the School sports meeting, staged in the chorus competition of the Golden Autumn Art Festival year after year, served as the president of the Student Data Science Society, and was active in various places of campus activities, striving to enrich her college life.

When talking about personal growth experience and feelings, Zhe Cao said that at the Opening Ceremony for Freshmen, the phrase "Mind the motherland, look at the world, and strive to achieve a great life with great ambition, broad vision and big mind" has always inspired her to keep going on. She shared the experience of eight months of fruitless research and restarted, and described the process of going over mountains and villages with the team to carry out investigation and practice, upgrading products all night and optimizing user experience. "Never forget, there will be repercussions." She encouraged her younger brothers and sisters to root in this hot land of Wuhan University, be down-to-earth with dreams, gain growth through constant breakthroughs, and strengthen their faith through constant trying.

The undergraduate period was about to an end, and Zhe Cao chose to stay in Wuhan University for further study and embark on a new journey with her alma mater.
