On the afternoon of May 11, the defense meeting of the 2022-2023 Academic Year Wuhan University Excellent Graduate Student Union was held. After fierce competition, the Graduate Student Union of our School won the Wuhan University Excellent Graduate Student Union with the top three scores in overall assessment. There were only ten graduate student unions in Wuhan University won this honor. This was the 13th consecutive time since 2010 that our graduate student union has won this honor.

As representative of the SIM Graduate Student Union, Yiyao Chen, member of the Presidium of the SIM Graduate Student Union, presented the Audio Book of the School of Information Management to the whole university in the form of commentator. Yiyao Chen introduced the basic system, organizational structure, work achievements and service effectiveness of the SIM Graduate Student Union from eight aspects, such as deepening reform, ideological and political education, media publicity, life convenience, mental health, academic innovation, employment and social practice, and cultural and sports activities.

In the past one year, the SIM Graduate Student Union has always adhered to the principle of serving graduate students, continued to deepen organizational reform, effectively focused on the main business, combined with professional characteristics and the actual needs of students, and created novel and lively ideological and political psychological activities, high-quality and accurate job-seeking activities, and cultural and sports activities that teachers and students like, showing the style of SIMer.

In the past one year, the SIM Graduate Student Union continued to improve the standardization construction, and the reform results began to appear. 14 revised rules and regulations were published, and the system process has rules to follow; Hold postgraduate students representatives meeting, standing committee meeting, and general meetings regularly, the procedures of the decisions are in conformity with the norms; In-depth promotion of the linkage action among classes, school and university, and close cooperation between all kinds of meetings; Organized and carried out 4 times of backbone training, 3 times of competence growing, 2 times of Qingyan plan, one quality development activity, and gradient cultivation of students' backbone.

In the past one year, the SIM Graduate Student Union focused on the main business in depth, and the service effect was outstanding.  Launched the Red Sail Pilot Training Camp and the Youth Army Dream presentation, took the lead in setting up a functional Party branch, carried out 11 theoretical discussions and 3 volunteer practices, and the pattern of "Party building+ideological politics" began to appear; Update eight columns of publicity, launched the holiday series of Summer Bubble and Winter Vacation Cycle Manual, and finished 112 original tweeted articles, with a total reading of over 210,000, which have been widely praised by both inside and outside Wuhan University; Open three feedback mechanisms and four feedback channels, follow up with Wuhan University Leadership Reception Day and functional departments face to face, organize a dormitory visit, and communicate in real time to protect rights; Organize 14 psychological activities, such as cross-school friendship and group assistance, set up Heart-to-Heart Cabin, Secret Tree Hole and anonymous mailbox, and build a defense line by multiple channels; Held 68 academic lectures and 8 high-level academic conferences, and won the honor of 31 contests, with fruitful results in the cooperation between master and doctoral students; Set up premium projects such as Luojia Career Navigation and Building a Dream at Baiguoshu, published 374 items of employment information, organized 13 employment events, and help students in job-seeking wholeheartedly; Optimized the construction of the SIM teams, organized and participated in 20 cultural and sports activities, and organized special activities such as Colorful SIM, teacher-student sports meeting, lawn music festival, etc.
