Recently, Wuhan University published the list of advanced groups and advanced individuals in the 2022 China Postgraduate Innovation and Practice Series Contests. Our School was awarded the advanced group, which was one of the six award-winning organizations of Wuhan University, and the only award-winning organization of humanities and social sciences schools.

Lu An, Professor at our School, was awarded the title of Excellent Instructor.

Miaomiao Chen, Shouqiang Sun, Xinyi Yang, Shuoguo Zhang, Qishun Mei, Zheyu Jia, Fan Wang, Sudi Xia, Qianwen Qian, Haowei Wang and Xujun Yuan, graduate students of our school, were awarded the title of Advanced Individuals.

In 2022, graduate students of our School had great achievements in many contests. They won 15 national awards and 32 person-times awards, and many awards were won for the first time by our School, setting the best record in the School’s history.

In the "Huawei Cup" the 19th China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the team instructed by Lu An, consisted of Miaomiao Chen (team leader) and Shouqiang Sun won the first prize, the team consisted of Xinyi Yang (team leader) and Shuoguo Zhang won the second prize, the team consisted of Qishun Mei (team leader) won the second prize, the team consisted of Zheyu Jia won the third prize.

In the 8th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Wei Feng won the national silver award, and Chengfeng Gao won the national bronze award. Moreover, Wei Feng also won the national bronze award in the 9th China Entrepreneurial Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

With the instruction of Shengli Deng, Professor at our School, the team consisted of Fan Wang, Sudi Xia, and Qianwen Qian won the national third prize in the 5th Huawei Cup China Postgraduate IC Innovation Competition, the team consisted of Fan Wang, Sudi Xia, Qianwen Qian, and Haowei Wang won the national third prize in the 4th Huawei Cup China Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition, the team consisted of Fan Wang, Sudi Xia, Zheyu Jia, Qianwen Qian, Haowei Wang and Xujun Yuan won the national third prize in the China Postgraduate Fintech Innovation Competition. Sijia Yu won the national third prize in the 7th Zhengtai Cup China Graduate Contest on Smart-city Technology and Creative Design.

All along, our School has created conditions actively, strongly supported and encouraged graduate students to participate in academic, science and technology innovation competitions. Our School was awarded advanced groups again this time, which is an affirmation of our School’s breakthrough achievements in participating in the series of competitions, but also a reflection of the effectiveness of our graduate students' education in innovation, originality and entrepreneurship.
