On the afternoon of March 20, Pingwen Zhang, Academician and President of Wuhan University, met with Zhiyun Zhao, CPC Secretary and Director of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, and her team at the VIP room of the Administration Building in Wuhan University. The two sides exchanged views on deepening the cooperation between the Institute and the University.

Pingwen Zhang extended a warm welcome to Zhiyun Zhao and her team, expressed appreciation for the guidance and demonstration role played by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China in the field of science and technology information in China, and also thanked the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China for its long-term support and concern for the development of information management discipline, talent education, platform construction and scientific research in Wuhan University. He pointed out that data intelligence and information intelligence are not only the forefront of the times, but also the mainstream in the future. They play an important role in supporting the strategic decision-making of national scientific and technological innovation, accelerating the construction of a strong country in science and technology, and realizing high-level scientific and technological self-reliance. He hoped that both sides could further strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the high-quality development of China's scientific and technological information cause.

Zhiyun Zhao said that the information management discipline of Wuhan University has a long history and strong strength, and Wuhan University and the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China had a good foundation for cooperation.
