With the music playing, the introduction was dedicated to Chuanfu Chen, Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan University, who took the stage to receive the award.

On the evening of March 20, the 13th Wuhan University "Good Tutor in My Mind" Award Ceremony was held in the Humanities Museum. Pingwen Zhang, Academician and President of Wuhan University, attended the award ceremony and expressed congratulations to the 10 teachers who were awarded the honorary title of Wuhan University "Good Tutor in My Mind". Pingwen Zhang pointed out that good tutor should have personality charm, care for students and help students find their interests and strengths. He hoped that tutors should aim high, establish great feelings, learn with peace of mind, dare to do big issues and strive to be “master”. He called on the students to learn from good tutors, inherit the academic spirit of Wuhan University, cherish learning opportunities, select research topics, hone their abilities and skills, and write gorgeous chapters of youth.

Chuanfu Chen has been engaged in postgraduate education for more than 30 years, and has also served as the head of the relevant talent education departments of Wuhan University for many years. His students are all over the world. In answering the host's question, he shared his initial intention of teaching and educating people, told his experience of studying in Wuhan University, and conveyed his feelings of education.

The Wuhan University "Good Tutor in My Mind" selection activity is sponsored by the Graduate Work Department of the Party Committee of Wuhan University and the Committee of Wuhan University of the Communist Youth League, and is organized by the Wuhan University Graduate Students Union. 10 graduate tutors with noble morality, outstanding scholarship and deep affection among students are selected every year, aiming at promoting the good fashion of respecting teachers and respecting academics. The first selection activity was held in 2010, six teachers of our School have won this honor since 2010.
