On April 4, Yinghua Zhong, CPC Deputy Secretary and President of Tianjin Normal University, led a team to our School for exchange.

Feicheng Ma, Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan University, Chuanfu Chen, Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan University, Wei Lu, Dean of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, and others attended the meeting.

Xingrong Fu, CPC Secretary of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, presided over the meeting.

Feicheng Ma and Chuanfu Chen delivered speeches one after another, extending a warm welcome to Yinghua Zhong and his team. They reviewed the friendly relations between the two universities and expressed their expectation for the future development of the discipline of information resources management in Tianjin Normal University. On behalf of the School, Wei Lu expressed his gratitude to Tianjin Normal University for its support to the development of the discipline of information resources management in our School. He introduced the history and development of the School, its general development in recent years, and its strategy, measures, experiences and achievements in discipline construction and postgraduate education.

Yinghua Zhong said that at present, the discipline of information resources management was facing good opportunities for development. He hoped that by strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two universities, he could learn from the experience and practices of Wuhan University in the construction of related disciplines and promote the construction and development of the discipline of information resources management in Tianjin Normal University.

At the meeting, participants exchanged and discussed specific issues related to discipline construction and postgraduate education.
