Recently, Wuhan University Youth League Committee published the work assessment results of all branches (general branches) of Youth League Committee of Wuhan University in 2022. After work summary, assessment communication, on-site defense and other procedure, the Youth League Committee of our School was awarded the Wuhan University May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee (only five in Wuhan University), which was the fourth consecutive year that our School has won this honor.

In 2022, under the leadership of the SIM Party Committee and Wuhan University Youth League Committee, the SIM Youth League Committee focused on the needs of young students and carried out various kinds of work in an innovative and orderly manner. The SIM Youth League Committee carried out the "3+X" theoretical learning activities integrating youth general study, general discussion, general appraisal and characteristic learning of the Youth League branch, and strengthen the theoretical arm of youth. Around the "100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League" and "the spirit of the 20th Party Congress", the SIM Youth League Committee organized a series of thematic education activities such as Telling the History of the Communist Youth League and May 4th Red Songs Concert.

A number of advanced students have emerged in our School. One was chosen into the theme exhibition Promising and Fearless of New Youth in the New Era by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and was awarded the title of Hubei Provincial Aspiring Youth. One won the title of Wuhan University Top Ten Outstanding Youth (Students). One won the title of Wuhan University Students’ Forum Silver Speaker.

Relying on the academic strength of the School, the national-level scientific research platform and major national scientific research projects, we carried out the cultivation project of innovation, originality and entrepreneurship, and won one provincial gold prize, one provincial silver prize and one provincial bronze prize in the China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, one provincial silver prize in the “Challenge Cup” National Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works by Race, and three national special prizes in the China National College Student "Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship" Challenge.

We have created a community of practical education and carried out voluntary service extensively. One research report was chosen into the National 100 Excellent Research Reports on Social Practice by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, which was the only award-winning achievement of Wuhan University. Our School was awarded one Hubei Province Outstanding Practice Team, and 12 Wuhan University Outstanding Achievement Awards. The volunteer service activity of Silver Hair Project won the first prize in the Scheme Design Competition of the 7th Wuhan University Volunteer Service Project Competition, and the community volunteer service of Silver Hair Memory was reported by the Wuhan University news.

In 2022, with the joint efforts of the teachers and students of the whole School, the School has won many honors and awards, and continued to polish up the brand of the School of Information Management.
