On the afternoon of April 23, the Information Science+ Team of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited our School and discussed with the young teachers of our School on the theme of Digital Intelligence Empowering Scientific and Technological Knowledge Discovery and Service.

In his speech, Wei Lu affirmed the value of this exchange activity, and hoped that young scholars would have a spark of cooperation in the collision of academic viewpoints and make high-quality knowledge in the wave of digital intelligence empowerment.

Xiwen Liu spoke highly of the relevant research work and achievements of our School. He hoped that young scholars would seize the opportunity of face-to-face communication and explore the possibility of cooperation in research topics, practical exploration and other aspects to jointly promote the development of the discipline.

Tao Han introduced the business layout and development of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He pointed out that the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences should always face the major strategic needs of the country and help scientific research with scientific and technological information services. He hoped that the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences could cooperate with our School, give full play to the advantages of both sides, and carry out in-depth research on scientific and technological knowledge discovery and service.

In the academic frontier discussion session, Lucheng Lu, Associate Research Fellow of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced the patent information research work of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the characteristic development system of "Trinity" with the title of Patent Information Research and Service Practice. He showed some practical achievements of the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, via three cases: research progress of data-driven patent value evaluation index, business control list and patent mapping, and automatic classification of patent information.

Jin Mao, Associate Professor at our School, brought a share on the topic Academic Novelty Bias: A Perspective of Publishing Review Process. He pointed out that the review process of articles before publication would be questioned and biased because of the innovation of the articles themselves, and the more innovative articles might take longer to be accepted.

Chaocheng He, a young teacher at our School, gave an academic sharing entitled Formation Mechanism of Scientific Research Guidance Relationship. Starting from the author's attribute and scientific cooperation, he explored the formation mechanism of scientific research guidance relationship and its important role in scientific research cooperation.

Zhesi Shen, Associate Researcher at the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a detailed introduction to Journal Partition Table and International Journal Early Warning List around the practice of evaluation of sci-tech journals. The new edition of Journal Partition Table adopts more reasonable system and indicators to reflect the overall trend of journals, and the evaluation results are more stable. The International Journal Early Warning List originated from the phenomenon of academic misconduct, which serves the evaluation of scientific research in China, and aims to remind publishing institutions to do a good job in journal management and safeguard the effective rights of scientific research achievements.

In the free speech session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on information theory research, information methods and technology, information service scenarios and applications, and sought for cooperative research topics.
