On the afternoon of May 30, Qian Dai, CPC Deputy Secretary of our School, and Lihong Zhou, Associate Dean of our School, led a team to Daijiashan Sci-Tech Venture City, Jiang 'an District of Wuhan, for investigation, research and exchange.

People attended the event were as followings:

Pei Deng, Assistant General Manager of Daijiashan Sci-Tech Business Incubator, and heads of Technical Service Department, HR Service Department, Maker Space Business Department.

Qian Dai, Lihong Zhou and their party visited the planning sand table and achievement exhibition hall of Daijiashan Sci-Tech Venture City, and learned about the operation mode, service mechanism, high-tech enterprises' entry and cultivation, etc. Moreover, they went into two companies, which were Wuhan Hanene Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Cuiyu Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and talked with the heads of the companies while visiting, so as to learn more about the "Daijiashan Model" for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in colleges and universities and the incubation of college students' entrepreneurship.

Subsequently, the two sides had an exchange discussion. Pei Deng introduced the business incubation chain of "maker space + sci-tech business incubator + sci-tech business accelerator", and the service model of "liaison + counselor + service specialist". Qian Dai and Lihong Zhou introduced the basic information of the School and the subjects, and solicited opinions and suggestions from the participants of Daijiashan Sci-Tech Venture City on how to strengthen the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in colleges and universities and the cultivation of college students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. The two sides exchanged views on jointly setting up the course of College Students' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Planning, and jointly building the practice base and science and technology training base for college students.

Qian Dai said that the School opened the course College Students' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Planning previously, and organized students to visit the Daijiashan Sci-Tech Venture City, which made a positive attempt for the two sides to jointly carry out talent training. During this visit and investigation, the two sides have further deepened their understanding and reached the intention of in-depth cooperation in more fields and in a wider scope. We have expected the two sides to promote high-quality development through extensive and in-depth joint construction and cooperation.

Lihong Zhou said that during the visit and investigation, the two sides had in-depth and detailed communication on the teaching methods, teaching contents and organizational requirements of the course College Students' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Planning. We have made preliminary preparations for the opening of the course. Next, we should communicate the details further, optimize the course arrangement, and ensure that the course achieves good results. In the future, the two sides should explore new paths and modes of personnel training and cooperation in related fields.

This visit and investigation is not only a research exchange meeting for cultivating top-notch innovative talents of the School, but also a lesson preparation meeting for the course College Students' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Planning. Giving courses on innovation and entrepreneurship in sci-tech venture park is a brand-new attempt of the teaching and learning revolution of the School. College Students' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Career Planning is an optional course, and will be offered for the second time in the third semester of this year, and it is planned to be jointly delivered by Daijiashan Sci-Tech Venture City and our School.
